The director Mark Toia, c/o Zoom, a film and television production company, had a full page ad on the back of every issue of Campaign Brief. It was a montage of the work. Literally 50 or so thumbnails. As I was part of the audience, it was quite boring. So my writer at the time, who knew Toia well, persuaded him to let us come up with a campaign for him.
Our concept was Toia and co can ‘make creatives look good’. We needed permission of three of Australia’s top Creative Directors, Leo, Siimon and Craig and slightly exaggerated their images All we needed was some images of male models, so Michel Aboud came to the rescue and the campaign was done.
